‘Pokémon Stars,’ ‘Super Smash Bros’ for Switch and other games Nintendo hasn’t confirmed

January 13, 2017 - Super Smash Bros

This week’s Nintendo Switch reveal event didn’t disappoint, with copiousness of sparkling announcements about a mint console. However, a few games that had been rumored to seem didn’t uncover up. We’re still watchful for Pokémon Stars and that Super Smash Bros. port for Switch.

What gives?

The loyal answer is (probably) that nothing of these games were prepared to uncover still yet. Nintendo will expected uncover them after this year, presumably during E3. That said, here are a few of a biggest no-show games we’re failing to see reliable for Switch.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch: Not yet

We’ve been conference for a while that a new chronicle of a many new Super Smash Bros. game is being prepped for Switch, presumably even with new characters. As we can guess, it wasn’t even hinted during during Nintendo’s Switch eventuality this week.

Perhaps Nintendo felt that display both Smash Bros. and Mario Kart would be re-release overkill. Maybe it only doesn’t exist (however doubtful that is). All we know is that we don’t know where it is right now.

Pokémon Stars: Can’t locate ’em all on Nintendo Switch for now

Another heavily rumored Switch diversion is Pokémon Stars, an HD re-release of recently expelled 3DS games Pokémon Sun and Moon. Again, it was nowhere to be found in Nintendo’s Switch event.

This one creates a bit some-more sense. Pokémon Sun and Moon are expected still offered copies on 3DS, with kids carrying only gotten it over a holiday season. If Nintendo announces a improved chronicle of it entrance after this year, it would daunt people from shopping it on 3DS.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 for Nintendo Switch

The long-awaited followup to 2003’s Beyond Good Evil is mostly insincere to be a Switch disdainful (at slightest during launch), though we saw conjunction censor nor hair of it during a Switch event. We still don’t even know what it’s called.

Since a diversion apparently only entered pre-production a few months ago, we can assume it’ll be a small while before we see it. Perhaps we’ll see a teaser during E3.
